Online Submission of Preliminary Proposal
It is highly recommended that proposals be submitted via the web. If you are unable to submit a preliminary proposal on-line or pdf contact California Sea Grant at (858) 534-4440.
Points to consider before proceeding with on-line submission:

- The person that completes and submits the form is the "preparer", whether it's the investigator or another person authorized by the investigator.
- Enter only data and information that is visible in the data entry fields.
- Fields that have a red question mark have a help screen. Click on the question mark and the help screen will open in a second browser window. When you are finished with the help just click the close-box and return to your form
- When all information has been entered correctly, click the submit button at the end of the form.
- If the form is submitted successfully a confirmation number and a text copy of the submitted form will be emailed to the preparer and the project leader.
- Please be aware that web forms only accept unformatted ASCII text. If you want special formatting added after submission do the following:
